“Union City Lions Club Student Speakers Contest”
It is set for Feb. 20th , 2019 at 7:00 PM in the Union City Council Chambers. The topic is “Freedom of the Press: What does it mean?” Lion Regis will need three timers and two tellers. Please advise Lion Regis if you will attend and can assist in the timing and telling duties. Also, all Lions should attend. Note, two years ago, our winner was a District winner and as such received a $4,500 college scholarship. So we have some good speakers at our contest.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes early as doors will be closed at 7:00 pm.
