Calling All Lions
The Annual Relay for Life format has changed this year and will be held for one day only rather than the normal overnight format. The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 8th from 10:30 AM to 9 PM at the Logan High School field.
We will again be providing the breakfast, only on Saturday and for far fewer people. The RFL Committee has asked we provide and serve breakfast for the cancer survivors (50 - 75 people) just prior to the opening ceremonies at 10:30 AM.
To that end we need volunteers to help. We will begin cooking at 7:30 AM at the Ruggieri Center that Lion Tony has, once again, been able to secure for the cooking. If you can help please let Lion Greg know via phone (510 796-3126) or e-mail (gregory.stewart1@att.net) ASAP.
